Interesting thing is QingYi fails so woefully, even though she is the one that has been married to him. Not much less horrible than her original I guess.
Where is Ling'er's father though? And why is it like she stopped cultivating?
For those complaining about the lack of intimacy, this show is extremely strict with that. The fact that they allowed a hug is a miracle. But we know their relationship is closer than that.

Today's episode is really warm and fuzzy! Truly a welcomed break from all the non-stop actions. They did however cut out some events after his lightning tribulation but it's not critical to the plots. Here's the missing scene: SH has some esoteric "symbols" appearing during his cultivation where even he himself is not aware of. And this is not the first time. Remember Qi Daolin was shocked to see SH in that state when they were in the cave? It's just an indication that he's an unprecedented genius and kinda heaven's chosen one.

Btw, there's one subbing mistake that I'm always amused about. It's the use of the word thunder to mean lightning. Even myanime subs which I think has one of the best subs for PW also occasionally made this mistake. This made me really curious to see if they actually mean the same thing in Chinese. Truly, there's only one base word used for both thunder and lightning in Chinese language. By adding a prefix or suffix, it could mean thundering (the sound) or lightning strike (the current).

Oh.. just a word of caution to all the shippers (regardless of whichever pair you ship), Chen Dong (the author of PW) sucks at writing romance. So for those hoping or expecting to see more intimacy, you're in for a major disappointment. SH fking didn't even consummate his marriage with Huo Ling'er when he married her the next time he came to see her. All they did was sitting back-to-back (just like in this episode) and talked the whole night through before he left the next day. He did that again with Yunxi where he left her on their wedding night to break through to Supreme Being level and he only consummated the marriage hundreds of years later.

I know how that might feel for those hoping to see just a wee bit of intimacy. PW is one of my favourite Chinese cultivation novels and SH is on my top three list of best MCs but if there's one thing I can't agree with SH, it would be this. The way he treats his wives is unacceptable, though he would die to protect them but he is just a douche when it comes to showing affection and intimacy.

If you don't mind spoilers, I will tell you:They are not yet married at this point but they will be after the MC returns from the next dungeon run. They haven't seen each other for probably more than one year but less than 2, the girl went to the upper world with her father to avoid being caught in the calamity apocalypse but the MC stayed behind to continue finding his parents, he eventually died protecting the lower world from gods sent by superior forces.

If you want to rank the three marriages of SH chronologically, it would be Qing Yi aka Yue Chan, Huo Ling'er and then Yunxi. The first one is just a sham marriage in the lower realm. But SH really does like QY and wants her to acknowledge their marriage and be a real couple, and QY actually agrees on the condition that SH wins the Battle of the Geniuses. But she back pedals when he really did win it. She's just not good enough for SH.

As for who is the best waifu, I'd say, both Huo Ling'er and Yunxi love SH just as much but SH's only true love is Huo Ling'er. Anyway, you don't have to worry about all these because apart from SH's first marriage, the other two have not happened yet. There's still quite a lot of time to go till his next marriage. Till then, I'm sure you would have already caught up.In the meantime, enjoy those 100+ episodes!

As the MC progresses on his cultivation level, everytime something happens or when he shuts himself from the rest of the world to study cultivation, hundreds of thousands or millions of year come to pass. This is having in mind that as he levelled up in cultivation, his lifespan increased exponentially that's why we see some time skip from a few years at the beginning of story to literally millions of years.

Qingyi is the most "unworthy" one of all the three: she didn't mourn for his husband's death and left for the upper world right after he supposedly he died.she left again later on when MC supposedly died again for another superior dimension/world Yunxi is kinda ok since she was raised to carry for the fste of her clans so she had family pressure and all that shit. But she did love and care for the MC as it was shown in the bird dungeon.in the future, MC will be cursed by a spell and losing all cultivation, becoming broken in the process so he decided to return to his village, Yunxi didn't care that he was now just a normal guy and left her clan no matter what and decided to spend her remaining lifespan with the MC living a normal life. Huoling'er is the top waifu cuz she's his childhood sweetheart, never cared about his humble beginnings and always tried to protect him and be with him and she's the only one, as you get to see in this episode, to mourn for his death staying near the grave that she made and despite knowing he's dead, she stayed there waiting.

yeah she's the only one who ascended with the MC in the Perfect World/Wanmei Shijie ending but this is a trilogy soeventually there's a happy ending in the final ending of the trilogy where all of them live with MC
